Webinar Abstract: This 2-hour webinar will review basic diagnostics that can be performed in general practice to screen for and diagnose cardiovascular disease. The subjective and objective interpretation of thoracic radiographs will be reviewed with a focus on specific indications for initiating therapy. Basic interpretation of ECGs and common arrhythmias and their treatment will also be covered. Finally, the utility of cardiac biomarkers as a screening tool will be briefly discussed.
